This animation was done by only the use of Photoshop and After Effects.
I wanted to create an animation that consisted of one continuous shot where an item was being altered into several different stages, using only 2d sprites. Through this video I slice a fish in half, remove its half, cut the meat into smaller sections, grill the thin slices and then turn them into sushi pieces.
My goal was to make it clear what was happening to the fish throughout the video, as if it was an instruction video and not hide behind edits of different camera shots to get around technically difficult transitions.
